Zacharias Completes One Block of Six Classrooms and Furnishes with Modern Educational Tools in Avrugo, Igalamela
Rt. Honorable David Idris Zacharias has completed one block of six (6) classrooms for the people of Umochinna Avrugo, located in the Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State. His benevolence extended further as he furnished the classrooms with furniture to ensure that learners have comfortable seats during teaching and learning. He also provided the school with books and modern educational resources to support effective learning and sharing of knowledge.
The member representing Idah Federal Constituency, who also serves as the House Chairman Committee on Safety Standards and Regulations, Rt. Honorable David Idris Zacharias, completed St. Mary’s Primary School, Umochinna Avrugo, located in the Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State. He equipped the school with modern educational tools aimed at bringing education closer to the people’s doorsteps.
Part of the school items donated alongside the completed block of six (6) classrooms include furnished desks with plastic tables and chairs for pupils, textbooks and notebooks, as well as instructional materials for teachers to support effective teaching aids and tools.
The donated school items were officially received by the Honourable Legislative Aide from Igalamela, Hon. Samuel Umoru, on behalf of the school and the community. The event was flagged off by the Kogi State Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of an Agro-Allied company, Honorable Baron Okwoli, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the school’s development.
