The University of Ibadan, Oyo State has finally announced the opening of their admission portal to all interested applicants for the Post-UTME Exam. Also, direct entry registration was opened. The statement was released by the University which was seen to be have signed by G.O. Saliu, the registrar for the university. All interested applicants can now access the official application website from Monday 29th, July 2024 to Saturday 31st, August 2024.

When Will The Post-UTME Examination Begin?

The 2024 Post-UTME Examination will begin on Monday 16th, September 2024. Upon registration, candidates must provide their email addresses alongside their phone numbers to receive all updates. As of now, the specific examination date for each candidate is unknown. Also, in the release, the University cautioned all prospective candidates to provide accurate information, especially phone numbers and email addresses.

University of Ibadan Post-UTME Examination Requirements

Below, are the official requirements for the Post-UTME examination;

For direct entry admission, candidates are to possess only WAEC, NECO, NCE, OND, HND, A-Level, Cambridge or any other degree certificates from any recognized institution.
The University of Ibadan will not and does not accept JUPEP and IJMB certificates.
The University will not process admission of applicants under the age of 16 upon application
Candidates are to know the list of matriculating subjects accepted
Upon the completion of the online forms, candidates are advised to follow all the procedures.
For the College of Medicine, candidates must have 5 credits at one sitting in any O/level subject.
All Direct entry candidates must upload their credentials to ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng

How To Register For The Post-UTME Examination

For interested applicants, here are the detailed steps on how to register for the Post-UTME Examination.

Login to the official admission portal using your JAMB Registration Number.
Your JAMB Registration Number is your username, and your surname is your password.
A portal access fee of 3,000 Naira must be paid
Also, a screening fee of 2,000 Naira must be paid in the University’s name.
Candidates are to be aware of no further extension for this registration period.
